Marrakech Airport - Overnight in Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation by your local driver who is holding a sign with your name and our logo. You are free for the rest of the day to explore the city.
Marrakech is an entire world of its own. You probably have seen a picture or two of the “Red City” while browsing the internet, but what you may not know is that this city holds within itself a rich history and a joy of living that you can only experience if you get the chance to visit it.
On this day, we strongly recommend a visit to the amazing hectic Jemaa El Fna which comes alive after dark. You will experience a memorable mix of smells, sounds, and sights. For dinner, why not try one of the outdoor food stalls which offer a variety of food, and for the most adventurous, you can try the snails or the cooked sheep head.
** Approximate driving is 30mins (stops are NOT included)

Marrakech - Taroudant
This morning, you receive your rental car and start your self-drive thought the Remparts and Historical walls of Morocco. Having your previous stay booked in Marrakech allows you to have different options to arrive at Taroudant. It all depends on the season of your travel; the trip over the Atlas Mountains is one of Morocco's greatest journeys. Driving through the vertiginous Tiz-n-Test pass, you will enjoy the spectacular views of the Souss valley and isolated villages. But, if you travel in the wintertime when it's raining, it might be very challenging and hard to take this route. In similar cases, we recommend that you take the highway that links Marrakech to Agadir which safer and more comfortable. After arrival at Taroudant, you will have lunch (not included) then you are free for the rest of the day to stroll, linger and explore all the city has to offer. You should not miss shopping in the famous souqs and visiting the 16th-century gates, the ramparts, the Old kasbah quarter, and Place Al Alaouyin.
** Approximate driving is over 5 hours via the Atlas mountains Tiz-n-Test pass or 3.5 hours via the highway A7 & P1708 (stops are NOT included).

Taroudant –Essaouira
This morning is special passing through many villages; you will certainly enjoy the trip especially the Atlantic coast part from Agadir which is one of the pearls of Morocco. Whatever the season, the sun smiles down on the city and it enjoys a pleasant climate that the trade winds soften further. Don't miss making a stop for a snack or tea watching people walking next to the beach! It's just amazing to visit this part of the country.
Upon arrival at Essaouira, you can stroll around the old Medina which will amaze you in more ways than one because of its charming alleys. This UNESCO-listed medina is one of the finest in Morocco. Take your time to relax in your beautiful accommodation before making any plans for your dinner. You have unlimited choices and restaurants to walk into and get your table!
** Approximate driving is 4.5 hours (stops are NOT included).

Essaouira at your own leisure
It's clear you have been chatting about what to see and what to do! Today is your leisure time, and it's up to you to decide what to see and do; you can visit all Essaouira has to offer. There are a few formal sights like the ramparts, the sqalas, the old medina with its narrow streets, and the fishing harbor. A great place to just walk around and be culturally enriched: the mesmerizing Essaouira-Mogador is a destination that offers 1,001 possibilities!
We strongly recommend a visit to the Souks, especially the thuya wood workshops. You should also allow some time to walk along the immense windswept beach or maybe take your rental and drive further to the next villages and towns and get a sense of the road you will be taking tomorrow!

Essaouira - Safi - El Jadida
Just after having breakfast, you walk to your rental car and drive to your next destination, El Jadida. Surrounded by formidable ramparts, it is once known as Mazagan and still has a military air to it. Its many remaining bastions give tourists a fantastic view of the city especially that it stands on the shores of the Atlantic.
Enjoy the medina with its walls, alleys, and the famous Portuguese cistern whose vaults served as a backdrop for Orson Welles' "Othello". Also, you might already know that the historic district is a UNESCO World Heritage site. During your own visit, you should continue taking in the sights and look toward the water, where the Sidi Bouafi lighthouse has stood for nearly a century to guide sailors to the entrance to the port.
On your way to El Jadida, you surely want to make a stop and visit the land of potters, Safi, which is one of Morocco's top cities for ceramics and its streets are the point of origin for many beautiful mementos destined to become charming souvenirs.
** Approximate driving is 4 hours (stops are NOT included).

El Jadida - Casablanca Airport
